Lately a lot of you have reached out to us with questions about what is going on in our world.  Specifically, questions about ‘The Great Reset’, Russia, supply chain and inflation.  We wanted to answer some of these from our perspective. Hopefully it is helpful. 

First, supply chain:  yes, the supply chain has suffered setbacks. Yes, a lot of food processing plants have either closed or limited production at some point the last 12-18 months. It affects us in a variety of ways and frankly, unpredictable ways.  

The Russian conflict has created several issues besides the carnage. One of the biggest suppliers of fertilizer is Russia. Sanctions have not only increased fuel prices, particularly in Europe, but have caused shortages and extreme prices in farming inputs.  This has contributed to great uncertainty in the food supply. 

There is little question, what has been called The Great Reset, has loomed over all our lives. What this ultimately means is still to be decided but the symptoms are being felt by us all. Inflation, contraction, limiting opportunities.  We definitely live in wild times. 

At NuManna we are working to understand what all this means just like you. From our unique position we see food prices rising dramatically in the next 12-18 months. We realize food prices already have risen but we feel there is more to come. Supply is just too short for demand. Europe will begin to stretch global supply in ways we haven’t seen in decades. 

We are honored you reach out to us for answers. That means a lot to us.  We do not have a crystal ball, but your concerns are our concerns as well.   We are navigating these issues just like you. 

Certainly, any further disturbance or another Covid-like shutdown (for any reason) will threaten even our ability to have any supply at all.  Our reserves would be gone in weeks. 

We are concerned for us all, especially you, our wonderful customers, and pray for prosperity, health and most of all…happiness during this time.

When you go to the store get extra. If you usually buy one bag of rice; then buy 2 next time. Or even 3. Canned foods, etc. perhaps have a little cash on hand in case of an emergency.  Connect with trusted friends, family or neighbors and work on strengthening your like-minded circle to have a strong network to rely on. And we always encourage spending time with your family and making prayer a key part of your life.
